I am a freelance sound mixer available for film and television. I have worked with many independent studios for large and small scale projects, and I've worked with many reputable non-profit organizations such as the American Film Institute and the New York Film Academy.
I record on a SoundDevices MixPre-10 II with 8 actively mixable mono channels in, 2 stereo channels out, with a bit depth of up to 32-bit float.
I have six Sennheiser G4 Lavalier Mic Sets for big ensembles that require more mics, with frequency ranges between 470 and 558 MHz.
My boom kit includes a 9-foot and 16-foot boom pole with internal cables. My boom mics include a Sennheiser MKE 600 for outdoor/general recording, and two Audio-Technica AT875R for indoor recording or sit down interviews.
I use a Comtek monitoring system for producers and directors to listen in on scenes and provide their input. I also use Denecke JB-1 Syncboxes and a TS-3 timecode slate to sync time with camera department equipment.
I primarily work in Southern California, but I am open to traveling for any project. Please contact me for scheduling and daily rates.
